About Me

40 years in 40 seconds

Born and raised here - I attended Orono starting in Kindergarten and graduated in the Class of 2000.  After graduation, I went and served in the U.S. Army as a Forward Observer in the Field Artillery.  After the military, I went to college and graduated with a B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

My career started in Chicago, it’s where I was elected to my first community board, and where I received my MBA from Loyola – Quinlan Business School. Chicago is also where I met my wife, Tiffany, and had our two children – our daughter Logan and our son Arlen.

After they were born, we decided it was time to plant roots in a community and that is how we ended up here.  Logan will graduate in the Class of 2034 and Arlen the Class of 2036.  We are just a few blocks from my parents who are still in the house I grew up in.  And outside of work, our lives revolve around the kids’ sports, activities and friends...luckily the kids have some pretty special grandparents just down the road who love to help.
